This baby cot bed can easily be converted into a toddler bed after two years.

When the baby has just been born, put the slatted base in the highest position so that you can easily lift the baby out of the cot. If your baby is 8 to 9 months old, you will have to pay extra attention to their movements in the cot. As soon as your child pulls up on the bars of the cot, it is wise to lower the slatted base one or two positions for safety.

If your child tries to climb out of the cot, it is perhaps a good time to remove one side of the cot to convert the cot into a toddler bed. This will prevent any nasty falls out the cot.
