The «Cocoon» convertible cot bed in natural wood is an oval cot with a classic look and soft, rounded design that makes a beautiful addition to any nursery. Made from solid pine, this wooden cot bed feels sturdy and secure. In the early months, it serves as a snug oval cot with high rails. When your little one is ready for more independence, it easily transforms into a toddler bed with a low guard rail. This rail can be fitted on either the left or right side, depending on your room layout, and the side rail can also be removed if needed. With three adjustable mattress heights, the bed grows along with your child. A matching mattress is available separately and fits the bed perfectly, giving you everything you need in one go.

Warning
  • The mattress size must exactly match the bed's interior dimensions (70 x 140 cm).
  • There should be no gap larger than 30 mm between the outer sides of the mattress and the inner edges of the convertible cot bed.
  • Children can become trapped between the convertible cot bed and the wall. To reduce the risk of serious injury, the gap between the convertible cot bed and the wall should always be less than 65 mm or more than 230 mm.
  • The fastening screws should be checked regularly and tightened as necessary.
  • The lowest position of the convertible cot bed is the safest! This should be used when the child is old enough to sit up unaided.

What age is the convertible cot bed suitable for?
The bed is suitable from birth. In the first stage, it’s used as a cot with high rails. When your child is ready for a bit more independence, you can convert it into a toddler bed. Most children can comfortably use the bed until around the age of 4, depending on their height and development.
Which mattress do I need?
This convertible cot bed requires the matching 70x140 cm «Cocoon» mattress. This mattress has rounded corners to fit the oval shape of the bed perfectly.

Can I return a product?

At Petite Amelie, we want to make our customers and their little ones happy. If you are not satisfied with a product, the good news is that we can always help! For all your purchases with Petite Amelie, you can return items within 30 days for a refund.

We are happy to accept returns if the product(s) are unused, and in their original packaging with no parts missing.

Note: If you are not completely sure about your purchase ..don't immediately throw away the packaging and packaging materials, instead open the packages carefully and keep them until you are completely satisfied with the product. If you wish to return the product, it will have to be packed the same way in which it was delivered so that it does not incur any damage when it is returned to us.
We will not accept any product returns if the item has been assembled.

Due to situations caused by force majeure, the specified standard delivery times can be extended by a few days without notice.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED

As soon as your order has been placed, you will receive a confirmation email. If the products you have ordered are in stock, they will be dispatched the same day if you order before 2pm. If you order after 2pm, your order will be dispatched the following business day. If the products you ordered are out of stock, you will see the scheduled shipment date for your order + delivery time at checkout.

DELIVERY AND DELIVERY TIMES

As soon as your order is ready for dispatch, you will receive a dispatch confirmation with a track & trace link by e-mail. Via the link you can track your item using the track a parcel page. We deliver from Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM. The precise delivery times may differ and depend on the size of the parcel and the delivery address.

BANK HOLIDAYS

Bank holidays are non working / non-business days, so a next day delivery booked on the Friday before a Bank Holiday weekend, will be delivered on the Tuesday.

PO BOXES

We cannot deliver to PO box addresses.

MISSED AN ATTEMPTED DELIVERY / FAILED DELIVERY OF PARCEL

If you cannot find an attempted delivery card from your driver but think they have tried to deliver your parcel, you can track the parcel online or give DHL a call on 02476 937 770 If a card has been left, the card and notification will direct you to dhlparcel.co.uk where using the track a parcel function will give you the options available.
If you do not have the tracking number, then please contact Petite Amélie directly to assist further with this.

WHEN WILL MY PARCEL ARRIVE

On the morning of the delivery, a 1 hour delivery window will be provided by DHL. DHL will send you a notification. If you do not receive a notification, we may not have the correct information, you can then view the delivery window by going to our track a parcel page and entering your shipment number and delivery postcode.
