The «Ombre» high sleeper by Petite Amélie is an all-in-one solution: a bed, children's desk, and wardrobe with doors. This means your child can sleep, study, play, and store all within just 2.5 m²! It's perfect for a children's room with limited space. This high sleeper with desk and wardrobe stands out with its solid construction. The stairs are made from solid sheet material, 22 mm thick, ensuring greater sturdiness and durability.

Warning

  • Do not use the high sleeper for children under 6 years
  • Minimum ceiling height: 240cm
  • The visible screws of this high sleeper are neatly covered with white decorative caps. Are there children under the age of 4 in the house who might mistake them for something edible? If so, please consider postponing the assembly.




Is a high sleeper really the right solution for our children's room?

Do you want to be sure that a high sleeper is the right choice for you? Then first do this 'high sleeper test' that consists of three questions:

  • Is the children's room at least 240 cm high so that there is enough room to make the bed?
  • Is there at least 250cm x 170cm free space available? (Please note: around the high sleeper you will also need some free space so that you can open the wardrobe doors and get on and off the ladder).
  • Is your child at least 6 years old and can it climb up and down safely by itself?

    • Have you answered all these questions with 'yes'? Then the «Ombre» bunk bed is an option for your children's room.

All about safety

  • The staircase is mounted at an angle and has open steps. Why is this? Well, this reduces the risk of falling compared to high sleepers that have straight stairs and closed steps. In addition, open steps allow an adult with larger shoe size to climb up safely.
  • The construction is extra strong. Solid 22 mm thick parts are used for the stairs. Bed and stairs are tested up to 150kg.
  • The material of the staircase feels rough so that you do not easily slip on it

We are happy to accept returns if the product(s) are unused, and in their original packaging with no parts missing.

Note: If you are not completely sure about your purchase ..don't immediately throw away the packaging and packaging materials, instead open the packages carefully and keep them until you are completely satisfied with the product. If you wish to return the product, it will have to be packed the same way in which it was delivered so that it does not incur any damage when it is returned to us.
We will not accept any product returns if the item has been assembled.

If your order is placed after 14:00, it will be dispatched on the next working day and delivered within the same respective timeframes (1-3 working days for standard items or 2-5 working days for larger items).

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE DRIVER ATTEMPTS DELIVERY WHEN NO ONE IS HOME?

No problem, If your package has been delivered by DX, and no one is available at the address, the driver will leave a card with instructions and return the package to the depot. If you have given permission for the parcel to be left in a secure residential location, the driver may do so. We will attempt delivery up to three times before returning the package to the sender.

If your package has been delivered by DPD, you can track your delivery in real-time and update your delivery preferences using the DPD interactive app. If no one is available, DPD will attempt delivery twice before returning the package to the warehouse.

Parcel Force obtains electronic signatures, because of this, we cannot deliver to PO box addresses.

MISSED AN ATTEMPTED DELIVERY / FAILED DELIVERY OF PARCEL

If you cannot find an attempted delivery card from your driver but think they have tried to deliver your parcel then enter your tracking number on our track & trace page or call our helpline on 03448 004466.
If you do not have the tracking number, then please contact Petite Amélie directly to assist with this.

Please note: Parcel Force currently cannot give specific times for deliveries. Parcel Force will attempt to deliver a maximum of 3 times, after which you will need to collect your parcel from the depot.

If we did not deliver your parcel on the day that you requested, please contact the depot holding your parcel, they will then be able to advise you. The telephone number and opening hours of the depot can be found on the depot locator.

WHEN WILL MY PARCEL ARRIVE

On the morning of the delivery, a 1 hour delivery window will be provided by DHL. DHL will send you a notification. If you do not receive a notification, we may not have the correct information, you can then view the delivery window by going to our track a parcel page and entering your shipment number and delivery postcode.
